This building is now awesome that I learned it was designed to look like an owl. #sxsw (Taken with instagram)
John Talabot - When The Past Was Present
(via toberated)
We live at the Railyard Condominiums located at 4th St. between Brazos and San Jacinto, so our location should make SXSW extremely convenient. We will relocate one of our cars so that you’ll have your own reserved space inside the gate, and we’ll get you a key fob so you can come and go as you want. Our condo is a 3rd floor 1,100 sq. ft. unit, and the room we are renting is our guest bedroom and is furnished with a queen size bed. We have a washer and dryer in our unit and we have cable TV and very high-speed internet (50 mbps). You can feel free to use our kitchen and living room as needed too. We have Jack and Jill bathrooms, so you will have your own sink/toilet and a shared shower/tub. We do have 2 Wiener dogs, but they are super lazy and shouldn’t bother you. I work from home, so I’m here nearly all the time but regardless of our schedule you can come and go whenever you want.
Originally, after looking into what a space like ours was going for we were planning to rent the room out for $650 a night, but being that you’re XXX’s friend I think we would be comfortable coming down to $450 a night.
The Ronettes - Do I Love You
The Ronettes were a 1960’s girl group from New York City, the group consisted of lead singer Veronica Bennett, her older sister Estelle Bennett and her cousin Nedra Talley.
On a local television dance show in Idaho in February 1958, local teens dance to one of the biggest dance crazes out of the late-1950’s called The Stroll, which originated from American Bandstand.
